Reports from Rome of a robber using hypnotism to mesmerize his victims.
So far he has robbed a bank and a supermarket.
The victims report not remembering any details about the thefts.

Whales Doing Cows

Reports are that the some scientists in Japan are trying to cross all sorts of creatures, like whales with cows

Attack of the Gnome

The sideways stepping thing and pointy hat are really creepy.
I'm not sure what the town of General Guemes in Salta, Argentina has done to deserve this, but they need to stop it.

Floating Feet

Creepy floating feet are being found in the the Strait of Georgia over the last six months off the west coast of Canada.
Three have been found so far, all right feet, all wearing sneakers, all since August 20th 2007.
No bodys have been found reporting missing right feet.
Remember, this is the same area that brought you Robert Pickton, the pig farmer serial killer.
Watch your feet.

48 hours of Space

Wow, that was a fun 48hours of space
Started with 5 am meteor flying across the skys of the Pacific Northwest

Then a great lunar eclispe, complete with blood red moon

And finished off my our militarty taking their frustrations out on a broken satelitte as it cruised across the Pacific

Unexplained Under Antarctica

Scientists poking around in the icey waters of Antarctica have found huge worms, giant crustaceans, big sea spiders, and other possibly never before seen creatures.

"Not all of the creatures that we found could be identified and it is very likely that some new species will be recorded as a result of these voyages," said Graham Hosie, head of the census project that is part of a larger project to map the biodiversity of the worlds Oceans.

Shooting Down Satellites

The FAA has closed down a section of airspace over the Pacific Ocean Wednesday night and again Thursday night.
With the dead USA 193 satellite due to crash in early March and our fearless leaders having already decided to shoot the bad boy out of the sky, I think its safe to assume thats a good window to launch some really expensive missiles.
I, for one, am quite excited about the USA taking the big step of shooting stuff out of space.

Meteor must not be important

A meteor was sighted across the skys of Western Washington in the early morning hours of February 19, 2008.
A Federal Aviation Administration spokesman in Seattle, Mike Fergus, says a Horizon Airlines pilot saw the meteorite hit earth about 5:45 a.m.
Coverage is light, no security camera video or pictures.
Interesting timing, with a lunar eclipses and missiles shooting satellites out of the sky.
Last time I remember anything like this was a fireball sighting in 2005 outside of Tenino WA
